DECEMBER 2009
Everyone has been measured for Recital Costumes. I will order your child a size __________costume. If you have any questions or think it is the wrong size, you must call me this week. All Recital costumes will be ordered by December 20th. You will receive a costume invoice in January and costume payments will be due by February 15th.
The second tuition payment was due November 15th. If this payment is not made, your Recital Costume will not be ordered! Payment Due Now (if any): $______________.
The Dance School will be CLOSED Sunday, December 20th through Sunday, January 3rd. Classes resume Monday, January 4th, 2010. I sincerely hope you all have a happy and safe holiday!
I want to take this time to thank you all for allowing me the privilege of teaching your children. I love my job and love all of my students. I am so blessed! A couple of years ago I suggested that instead of getting me a Christmas gift, you bring one for a child in need. This has been very successful and with your help, I would like to continue this tradition. Bring a gift to the dance school wrapped and labeled stating for Boy or Girl and the age the gift is appropriate for. On December 18th I will give all of our gifts to June O’Neal to be distributed. If giving, please do so before the 18th. (Any gifts brought in after the 18th will NOT get to the proper place!) Thank You in advance for your generosity.
Traditionally, all classes have a Christmas Party the last 30 minutes of their class starting December 14th – 19th. Class Mom’s are in charge of organizing the festivities for their class. This is also the time to bring in your DFACS gifts except for Saturday students who need to bring gifts in on the 12th!
The Macon Christmas Parade is Sunday, December 13th at 3:00 PM. Watch for our entry. We’ll be the cutest ones there!
Congratulations to Maggie McCullough, Katie Belle Duke and Kelsey Lyles! They will be appearing in The Nutcracker of Middle Georgia. Please plan to attend this holiday favorite and support our talented Flag City Dancers! Break A Leg Girls!
MERRY CHRISTMAS – LOVE, Ms. Cindy |
